Locust Lane's School Goals
Every year our staff spends time analyzing our student data. After we analyze our data, we create academic and behavioral building goals and action plans to meet our high academic and behavioral standards. The goals and action plans are designed to help us reach our Vision of Every Child will be prepared for postsecondary success.
Behavioral Goal:
Locust Lane will focus on reviewing SWIS data twice a week and consistently document behaviors with appropriate consequences, so that all staff members will consistently address school-wide expectations and fewer students have 10 or more ODRs within one school year, leading to a more supportive learning environment for all students to optimize learning.
Academic Goal:
Locust Lane will collaborate in grade level/content area teams about universal student data and instructional practices, so that at least 70% of our students in grades 1-5 will have a 35 SGP or greater as reported on the Star Growth for both reading and math in the winter and spring assessment windows of the 2024-25 school year.
