Locust Lane Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) 

The PTO meets once a month during the school year in the library at 6pm.   All are welcome, including grandparents and other adults involved in your student’s life! Meetings are a great place to stay up to date on what is happening at school and find out how you may be able to contribute.  Volunteering for events is encouraged as we cannot run them without help, however volunteering is not required for meeting attendance.  Meeting dates and updates from the PTO can be found in the weekly newsletter that is emailed out.   Membership to the PTO is automatically granted to all parents and guardians of Locust Lane Elementary Students, plus all of Locust Lane Elementary Staff.  There are no membership dues.  Members do not have voting privileges. The Executive Board has voting privileges; We are currently seeking the positions that are listed as open below. Please reach out if you are interested or want more information.

• Offer field trip for each grade including the 5^th Grader’s trip to the MN Zoo.

• Pizza Parties for Pop Tab Winners
• Assist with Yearbook Funds

 New Initiative for 2024-2025: Assist in raising funds to update playground to a solid surface to make it more accessible to all.
